K-pop queue experience Manchester – This “Queued Up” episode might be one of the most personal ones for me, not just because of the people I talked to, but because of how I even got there in the first place.

I travelled all the way to Manchester alone for this one. Didn’t really know anyone, except for a few people I had only talked to online before. So yeah… I was nervous. Like, what am I doing, why am I here alone, kind of nervous.

But the moment I got there? That feeling disappeared so quickly.

Everyone was so open, so kind, so welcoming. And that honestly made me even more excited to start filming, because it immediately showed me that this was something special.

The reason I really wanted to film in this queue was because it was a K-pop fan community. And let’s be honest, there are a lot of stereotypes and misunderstandings around that. I mean… I used to be one of those people. A bit of a critique, not gonna lie.

Until I actually gave it a chance.
And now? Fully obsessed.

So I thought, who better to talk about those stereotypes, that judgment, and what it actually feels like to be part of this community, than the people living it?

This episode really focuses on what makes this fandom and this queuing experience different. The level of organisation, the respect for each other, the way people take care of one another, the energy… it’s just different. And yes, I will say it: better.

The weather? Absolutely terrible. Cold, wet, not ideal in any way.
But the vibes were immaculate.

So if you want to see what a K-pop queue really looks like, and why it might not be what you expect at all, go watch the episode.Check the episode here :))
